Choate USA is currently seeking to hire a Commercial Project Manager to work in our Austin, Texas location.

Our Commercial Project Managers are experienced in large landscape and irrigation projects. This is a field position. You will be on multiple commercial projects per day managing labor, materials, paperwork and more.

If you are currently a part of this industry, then you are aware of the long hours and tough conditions. However, if you choose to work in the Landscaping and Irrigation industry, Choate USA is the place to be.

We are an aggressive, hands on, hard charging company. If you are not willing to get your hands dirty, we are not the place for you. Your daily routine does not expect you to have a shovel in your hands, but you will jump in if needed to get the job done.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a project manager in the Commercial Construction Industry.
  • An Irrigators License or Irrigation Technician License is a plus
  • Backflow Certification is a plus.
  • Plant/landscaping knowledge preferred
  • Strong work ethic, good communication, and organization skills.
  • Some Saturdays will be required to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day On-Site leadership and management of laborers and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate, implement and manage all aspects of the project while maintaining company expectations for quality, profitability, and safety.
  • Plan and execute efficient delivery and use of materials and labor to meet project budget.
  • Attend to administrative requirements as required by Choate USA and its customers.
  • Provide training and support to crew members as needed

Salary is based on your experience, pay ranges from $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 in base salary. Annual bonuses may be paid on office profitability. A vehicle allowance, company cell phone and work-related fuel is provided. Medical benefits are offered as a part of the compensation package after 90 days.

Our Austin office is located on the East side of Georgetown. You will report there every morning, so take this into consideration.

However, we cover the entire Austin metro area so your project(s) could be anywhere.

Commercial Project Manager – HOU

A Commercial Project Manager is experienced in large landscape/irrigation projects. This is a field position. You will be on multiple projects per day managing labor, materials, and paperwork.

  • An Irrigators license or Irrigation Technician License is needed.
  • A Back-flow Certification would be a great plus.
  • Plant/landscaping knowledge is obviously paramount.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Salary is based on your experience, but this positions typically pay $50,000-$60,000 in base salary. A per job bonus is paid based on achievement of materials and labor goals for a job under your management. Annual bonuses are paid on office profitability.

If you do not make over $80,000 per year in our system neither of us is successful. A vehicle allowance and gasoline is provided, company cell phone, and medical insurance is offered.

The Director of Maintenance is responsible for the challenging task of getting our maintenance division on its feet.  The candidate will be knowledgeable in both the technical and business aspects surrounding the maintenance industry and will be driven to prove themselves as a future leader for the Company.
